Meeting Europe’s Industrial Sustainable Carbon Challenge

Clariter, the international cleantech company that replaces virgin fossil carbon with sustainable carbon by recycling plastic waste to produce high-quality products used across industry, is pleased to invite you to our official #EUGreenWeek partner event taking place 31 May 2022, 13.30-14.30 CET.

This webinar will discuss how Europe can meet the Industrial Sustainable Carbon Challenge and defossilise its economy to reach the targets set out in the EU’s Sustainable Carbon Cycles Communication. It will highlight how innovative technologies and circularity can also contribute to reaching these EU goals. The speakers are:

Karlis Goldstein (Kardi Simson cabinet, Commissioner for Energy)
Barbara Rietbroek (Deputy Head of Unit Environment at the Dutch Permanent Representation)
Ran Sharon (CEO of Clariter)
Martijn Lopes Cardozo (CEO of Circle Economy)
Keren Shinar (Sustainable Business Manager at HP Indigo)

Carbon is the atom of life, of our societies and economies; however, at the same emissions from fossil fuel combustion have dramatically increased the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere resulting in global climate warming. To meet this critical challenge, the European Commission recently adopted its Communication on the Sustainable Carbon Cycles, setting out the EU’s strategy to reduce the pressure on carbon resources and decrease CO2 emissions. A key objective is to have ‘at least 20% of the carbon used in the chemical and plastic products coming from sustainable non-fossil sources by 2030’. How will the EU achieve this goal? This webinar convenes a discussion on this critical question and showcases Clariter’s clean technology which today already can contribute to defossilising the EU economy through innovation and circularity.

The discussion will include a Q&A where the audience can interact and ask questions

Clariter is the international cleantech company founded in Poland, which, through its unique and highly innovative technology, replaces virgin fossil carbon with sustainable carbon by recycling a broad range of plastic waste, including hard-to-recycle plastics (that would not be recycled mechanically), to produce high quality, high purity products such as waxes, oils, and solvents used for more than 1000 applications across industry.

We look forward to seeing you at this webinar!
